Madrigal Singers
The Foothill High School Madrigal Singers is an auditioned ensemble composed of 9th-12th grade students. Performing only the highest level of choral repertoire from a diverse multitude of time-periods and cultures, the Madrigal Singers aim to foster an appreciation for the choral art within their community. They regularly perform for local businesses, schools, and churches throughout Tustin as well as go on an annual performance tour. During the holidays, the Madrigal Singers don themselves in traditional Dickens garb and perform over twenty caroling engagements in order to fundraise for the choral music program. In the spring of each year, they are featured in Foothill’s Knights on Broadway, a fully choreographed and staged show that has been running for over 50 years. Additionally, the Madrigal Singers participate in over ten invitational festivals per year and receive marks no less than superior. They have had the honor of performing a solo concert in Carnegie Hall, as well as were featured performers in the American Choral Directors Association Conventions in 2014 and 2018.
